1. Mission and Purpose

• To provide information about scientific activities at the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting.

To periodically publish (for the print journal) and regularly update information in accordance with legal regulations (for the electronic journal), introducing and disseminating research results in the field of teaching and training at the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting.

2. Call for Papers

Dear Scientists,

The Journal of Fire (ISSN 1859–4719) is a specialized journal dedicated to providing information about scientific activities and publishing research results in the fields of teaching and training at the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting.

For over 16 years, the Journal of Fire has operated under its guiding mission and purpose as granted in its license. The content published in the journal has contributed significantly to education, training, research, and development efforts, supporting the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting and the People’s Public Security Force at large. Recognized for its credibility, the journal is included in the State Council for Professor Title’s list of peer-reviewed scientific journals with a weighted score of 0.75 for assessing professor and associate professor qualifications.

As of October 1, 2024, the Journal of Fire has expanded to include an electronic version, operating alongside the print version, under publishing license No. 287/GP-BTTTT granted by the Ministry of Information and Communications. This marks an important milestone, establishing an official online scientific platform dedicated to fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue research.

The contents and viewpoints expressed in articles published in the Journal of Fire are the responsibility of the authors. These views do not necessarily represent those of the Publisher or Editorial Board. Neither the Editorial Board nor the Advisory Board of the Journal of Fire assumes responsibility for errors or issues arising from the use of the information in the articles.

Upon acceptance for publication in the Journal of Fire, authors and co-authors acknowledge the following rights granted to the journal:

1. Exclusive rights to publish and distribute the article and to grant permissions to others, including for commercial purposes.
2. Rights to reproduce, distribute, present, or transmit the article in any form and medium post-publication.

Authors and co-authors must obtain written permission from the Journal of Fire to submit the manuscript to other journals or for any related uses, including compilation and translation, unless the article has undergone substantial modifications. Authors ensure the originality of the article, providing proper citations and obtaining permissions for copyrighted content, where applicable.

4. Journal Information

The Journal of Fire of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting, under the Ministry of Public Security, has been published since 2008 with ISSN 1859–4719 and is released monthly.

The journal is available in both print and electronic formats. As a fully open-access electronic publication, it maximizes the visibility and accessibility of published articles.

All manuscripts falling within the scope of the journal and adhering to submission guidelines undergo a rigorous review process, including double-blind peer review by at least one independent expert in the relevant field.
